the same problem. By chance are you installing RH9 under VMWare? If so, enable
legacy mode for the CD.

I have downloaded the iso files from REDHAT ftp
site. During installation process I get to the point of media check and it
fails with disk 2. I have looked at other threads on this forum and cannot
find an answer to this problem. I am using brand name media burned at 8X under
Windows and pgm NERO. I have never had a problem with CDs burned in a same
manner. also can someone explain to me how do I run a sum check
???
