SMB browser in Nautilus

Whenever I try to use the Network Servers GUI in Nautilus I get the error:

couldn't display "smb:///" because no host (null) could not be found....

Has anyone seen this or can you tell me why it is occuring?

I am able to pull up my SMB shares from windows hosts.  I can connect to the SMB shares using the terminal but when I try to use the GUI NADA!  

It looks nice from the screen shots I have seen but I would like to see it in person
