vmware gsx with redhat 9

Hello everybody,

have anyone experience with VMware GSX 2.5 for Linux running on a Red Hat 
9 server-system ? I'm running the server with Red Hat 8.0 and the server 
still hangs hard three times a day. (The memory and the processor is OK)
Hardware:
Board: Tyan Thunder 2500 S1867
Raid: ICP Vortex|GDT 6118RS/6518RS/6618RS
Disk: 5x72 GB Seagate SCSI SCA
Mem: 4 GB
Network : 1x3COM-Gigabit, 2x100MBit Intel
