As I mentioned early on I was wondering if Java was installed or if 
there might be a path problem ... thus the need to run the version command.

I know that when I first installed Mozilla 1.5 it asked about Java and I 
said yes, or was that when I upgraded to Linux 9 from 8 ... hmmm.

I was trying to use their SDM because my dialup is so slow and tends to 
drop the line during big downloads.  13megs is s BIG download!
