Locking of a Xterm Terminal

Title: Locking of a Xterm Terminal

Hi,

        Does anyone have a solution to locking a shell terminal? I'm logged onto my server via Putty<->ssh and sometimes need to leave my desk for a bit. Is there a way to lock the terminal without needing to logout each time I need to go to the loo??
