configuring remote printing.

In previous incarnations of Unix and Linux their was a file named
hosts.lpd (a file whose existence was hard to document) that contained
on a printserver the names of machines that could print to the server.

More recently this file has been replaced by a different configuration
file which I have used but right I can't recall its name.
Can anyone supply it?
