yum on intel rh 9.0

I have installed yum on my intel rh 9 box.  will I run into any
problem running this (modified) yellow dog updater on intel rh 9.0?

Everything seems to work and I have installed some programs that also
work.  I believe the rpm I have is from the i386 fedora tree.

But lately, I've been getting empty queries because yum like rpm is
case sensitive.  Why?  There should not be any problem listing mozilla
or Mozilla or MOZILLA, correct?
