ALS4000 Sound Card

Hello,
I'm running RedHat 6.0 & with sndconfig 0.38 (+kudzu & newt 0.50) but still
having trouble getting my sound card to work!! With sndconfig 0.38 my card
is being found, but I get the error message that it's not supported and the
program ends instead of letting me configure manually.

The card is an  ALS4000 Integrated PCI Audio Accelerator ,  that's
compatible with Sound Blaster Pro and Sound Blaster 16 Emulation amongst
others.
