but the client ask for this feature and I tried to satisfy it (if it is possible), though I know that is useless

This is a core business service, and they can't upgrade or change because it offers too many services, services that are made from many hands and noone knows nothing about them

I think that is a VERY BAD decision.
May be , (sure) you need install spacewalk in a distro more newly and scalable.
