Greetings,
I am attempting to install Stronghold 4 on a SunOS 5.7 (Solaris 7)
server, and at the end of the installation (when it attempts to
start the server), I receive the following error:
"An error occurred during installation.
The error message is:
Command "/opt/sh4/bin/start-server" returned error status 256
This occurred while processing configuration file
/opt/sh4/conf/.configure/.configure-trailer line 20"
After looking closer at my terminal, I noticed the following
diagnostic error message (after the installation aborts):
"Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/opt/sh4/var/httpd.mm.2600") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to memory map anonymous area (Bad file
number): OS: No such file or directory
Server could not be started"
This machine presently runs Stronghold 3 with no issues.
What is the problem here? I am grateful for any assistance.
Thanks...
