I'm a little surprised this hasn't bitten anyone else. I've finally managed to
get it installed without downloading the isos by writing a firewall rule to
redirect traffic from Mut (Machine Under Test) to go to my local Apache, and
configured it to proxypass everything (with correct headers) to
ftp.redhat.com.
I think this bites only if you're using transparent proxy. Even if I didn't my
ISP does so turning it off here wouldn't help.
Also, you won't notice unless you inspect the actual traffic on your network:
Anaconda correctly reports what it is supposed to be downloading.
I have recorded this problem in Bugzilla, and I still detest Bugzilla as much
as I ever did.
