we've been trying that here. unfortunately (at least for 2.1), we've
never managed to get a _single_ kernel rpm to compile. which makes our
life difficult, since our software ships with pre-compiled kernel
modules for every distribution we support.
which means currently, we can't promise support for rhas. which is
problematic for everyone involved, i think.
has anyone else had this experience? i've got code to rsync the updates
tree and rebuild everything, but the kernel never ever ever works. i
managed to get one to build by going through and editing the order the
patches were applied, but that's just ridiculous...
