If you are building rpms with "rpmbuild --rebuild kernel-2.4.9-whatever.src.rpm"
it takes care of all of that for you. As I said in an earlier post the
enterprise kernel.src.rpms supplied with either 2.1AS distro or the 2.4.9 series
errata kernels given the correct environment build just fine. I suspect that
the problem is not building them in the proper environment (wrong compiler
etc.). I could be wrong though. :-)
