While the support liability argument makes some sense, it is also very
problematic for the authors who have software that is included in
Taroon, but does not re-compile on Taroon.  Red Hat's policy for
security updates to RHELv3, once released, is presumably going to be
similar to RHELv21's policy -- make the smallest change possible to fix
the issue.  Without the necessary build dependencies, it becomes nearly
impossible to test small changes without recompiling large chunks of the
distro.

Possibly there could be a Taroon Black Sheep channel that wouldn't get
subscribed by default which has all the subpackages which were built but
are not in the supported distro release?
