installing on itanium

Hi,

When i gave 'map' at EFI prompt,nothing related to CDROM was displayed.

The o/p of 'dmesg' is:

#dmesg | egrep -i 'flo|cd'
hda: HITACHI DVD-ROM GD-7500, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
hdb: LS-120 SLIM4 00 UHD Floppy, ATAPI FLOPPY drive

Hence i created a boot disk by :

dd if=boot.img of=/dev/hdb bs=180k

Now at EFI prompt i change to
shell>fs1:
fs1>elilo linux

The system won't boot from local cdrom,but it boots from prev old linux which is on hard disk!!

I could i start installation ?
