Re: Missing -devel packages?

I can not give an offical RedHat answer, but to my understanding RedHat
left out various rpm packages, including multiple -devel rpms for two
reasons, one is so that they are not releasing a bloated rpm distro and
the second is that if you are paying for support services, you should be
able to get support for everything that comes with the distro, I think
RedHat removed various -devel rpms to limit their liabilities for
support. So if you want to use imap-devel or unixODBC-devel you will
have to grab the src rpm and recompile and then install the -devel rpm
package you built (try getting support from RedHat for a custom compiled
rpm :)
