We were using hdparm -t, as well as tiobench. Overall performance seems
to be around 12~20MB/s

[root kickstation-131 data1]# ls -alh bigfile
rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1000M Oct 23 18:23 bigfile

[root kickstation-131 data1]# time dd if=bigfile of=secondfile
2048000+0 records in
2048000+0 records out

real 0m55.419s
user 0m1.530s
sys 0m24.570s

This is a hardware mirror of 2 10K rpm Seagate 73gig u320 drives.

Thats like 18M/s, not very stellar.
