Many people have reported improved performance with the megaraid2
driver.  However, it has had less overall exposure in production
environments than the megaraid(1) driver has.  Both are provided for
your choice.

To switch, change megaraid to megaraid2 in /etc/modules.conf, remake
your initrd, and reboot.
