Good question...  I wouldn't think it would void any support contract,
but I really don't know.  Here are my thoughts on it:

If you do not have RHCS support, the IPVS modules (which Piranha depends
on) may be required to be removed from your kernel in order to obtain
support for a variety of issues - similar to the way 3rd party modules
or modules in the kernel-unsupported RPM need to be removed.

While this may be fine for some, others might find that disabling their
Piranha director to troubleshoot something seemingly unrelated might
seem a bit "too expensive"...

But, as I said, I don't really know.
