Assuming that IPVS is in the stock ES/WS kernel (I assume it is, but I
don't know for sure), using piranha wouldn't violate the RHEL EULA or
SLA. It's really no different from downloading xbill and using it. As
long as you're not trying to get support on it from Red Hat, and it
doesn't involve recompilation of core bits (kernel, glibc, etc), it
shouldn't affect the supportability of RHEL at all.
