RHEL "extras" site?

Just wondering if anyone here is interested in collaborating on a
site/repository for "unsupported" packages on RHEL. Ideally, I'd like
to do more than just "here's a bunch of recompiled Fedora RPM's." In
addition to having a set of RPMS's that are continually improved with
RHEL in mind, I'd like to facilitate discussion/notes on these packages
to cover things like why you might not want to upgrade a package, what
the gotchas might be, what makes a piece of software more/less
attractive to Red Hat for official inclusion, etc.

If there end up being a lot of packages that are just re-rolls from
Fedora, that's great (and wouldn't it be great if that level of
compatibility continues), but even then I think it could still be a
valuable resource just from a "peace of mind" standpoint... if I know
other people are using these Fedora RPMS on RHEL, I'd probably feel more
comfortable with them on my systems, for example.

Is anyone on this list interested in collaborating on such a project, or
is there already a similar resource that I'm overlooking (perhaps via
Fedora)?

Thanks

DC
