I am running:

03:02.0 RAID bus controller: 3ware Inc 3ware 7000-series ATA-RAID (rev 01)

at RHELv3U3 (2.4.21-20.ELsmp)

and I am not seeing any IOWait problem problem....

Do you have more information on what/when you are having this issue?
