Fedora will pick random mirrors to reduce the load on Red Hat's servers. If the mirror it picks hasn't updated yet, then up2date -l will report no updates even if some are available. Since RHN is hosted entirely by Red Hat, I don't think that's what's causing the delays that I'm seeing.I'm seeing this on Fedora.I've noticed several times that RHN is slow to report available updates/errata. For example, I got emails this morning about new versions of openmotif and the kernel, but they haven't shown up in RHN yet.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything that can be done about it?

I try up2date -l but no updates show.
The red tick stays, even if I "check for updates".
