I have tried unsuccessfully to get davfs working, it was looking for some
sort of coda file system.
No. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117975
If the question was "is there a command-line DAV client that works on
RHEL3" the answer is "yes - cadaver". But not one which is *included*
in RHEL3 at the moment, no.
You are 100% correct: cadaver does function on RHEL.
My definition of "works" includes "support" or at least "not having to
build the package myself and maintain it myself." Sorry for the
confusion and semantics.

Cadavers' removal from the distro is just plain odd and is one of those
things that just should not have been. I'd be less bitter, but that bug
has been sitting as NEW for 9 months and in fact has been addressed in
RHEL4-Beta so at a minimum it could be closed as NEXTRELEASE if there's no
interest in adding the package back into RHEL3.
