I completely missed this; thanks for point it out.

But still, the current kernel .spec does not provide the feature that
I was talking about: running some script(s) at install (and eventually
uninstall) time. The current %triggerin runs /usr/sbin/module_upgrade,
but the man page of module_upgrade says that this only changes entries
in /etc/modules.conf.

This change would need to come from Red Hat as it is obviously part of
the kernel RPM. The scripts however would be local, maybe also as part
of other RPMs in case the /etc/profile.d like scheme would be used.

I could of course add this as an enhancement in Bugzilla, but I 
wondered first if there are any pros/cons for it _in an enterprise 
environment_ (after all, we are on the taroon list...)
