Is there a howto for 2.6.x on RHEL 3?

I was just curious, has anyone been nice enough to put together a short
list of steps required to get 2.6.x working under RHEL 3 including
required versions of various pieces of software?

If none aren known, I'll probably write one up when I start trying to get
it to work this weekend.
