It looks like the problem with bind is actually a problem with the _old_
package, not the new one.  The old package did not wrap the preuninstall
and postuninstall scripts so that they were only executed if bind was
being removed from the system (as opposed to just upgraded), so they
always run.

The new package fixes that, but that leaves you with a mixed case where
some stuff is run and some stuff is not.  There is no easy way to fix
that except to do things manually; you could for example upgrade the
bind packages manually and specify "--noscripts".  I think that will
work okay (but I haven't tested it yet).
