Hi,
I just got a couple of shiny new Dell workstations with RHEL WS 3.0
preinstalled. Trouble is, our current workstations as well as the
server which holds everyone's /home via NFS are running FC1. The only
conflict, but it's a big one, is Gnome 2.2 vs. 2.4.
Is there any sensible way to run in such a mixed environment? That is,
can I somehow configure Gnome 2.2 to use 2.4's configuration files or
vice versa? Changing our FC1 systems to RHEL is an option, but not a
preferred one. Putting FC1 on the new workstations would mean, in
effect, throwing away a one-year RHEL WS subscription for which we paid.
TIA.
