/proc/net/sockstat

In my AS 2.1 server , when the "sockets in use" goes
beyond 700 , the rlogin from/to that server gives
'rcmd: socket: All ports in use' .

Is there any parameter we can increase this limit ?

# cat /proc/net/sockstat
sockets: used 231
TCP: inuse 130 orphan 0 tw 1 alloc 165 mem 39
UDP: inuse 29
RAW: inuse 0
FRAG: inuse 0 memory 0
