Just a follow-up to my own post..

Reading https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=109420 shows 
more information about this issue (if that's the same issue).

Obviously, the O1 scheduler patch mentionned in that bugzilla was too late 
for RHEL3 U1 but still didn't make it into RHEL3 U2 (still absent from 
15.0.3) so we're left to wonder why it didn't make it.. Reduced 
performance for enterprise-critical applications, maybe..? I'd like to 
know more (Just out of curiosity..)..
