HI

I am using RHEL 3.0 . There was insufficient disk
space on myharddisk
I checked that there were lots of files in /tmp.

I deleted the tmp folder and recreated the tmp folder.
After restarting my computer ,during the services it
displays that
xfs failed and it does not start the GUI. and the
screen keeps on flickering

Now i changed my run level to 3 by going to single
mode.
I boot the computer in run level 3 and run
redhat-config-xfree86

It displays the following error
xconf.py:Fatal IO error 2 (connection reset by peer)
on Xserver :17.0

Any suggestions on how to rectify this problem and
start my X
