Tao and Centos have additional archives of items which have
been requested on the respective mailing lists, or which the
principals of the project use. Nagios and friends from Dag's
archive are easy to build in Tao or Centos, and I have them in
production

In cAos-1, in a recent test session, 70 percent of the Dag
SRPM packages rebuilt unattended without intervention -- the
rest are straightforward. A bit of build environment work
(autoconf/automake) and removing some misguided (and
incorrect) versioned BuildRequires and the Red Hat
RawHide/Devel SRPM archive similarly build.

There is not really a formal 'contrib' effort for cAos, for
it is easy enough to either request an addition of a Packager
in the project, to become a packager for it, or to build in
it on a local basis.

Please feel free to join one of the caosity mailing lists --
http://caosity.org/mailman/listinfo -- the cAos list is the
most active.
