Hi all,
I have a machine running RHEL3 on which I run samba and winbind.
Everything appears to be working OK except that I get the following errors
in the logs:
Jul 25 13:24:22 bfs smb: nmbd startup succeeded
Jul 25 13:24:22 bfs winbindd[22719]: [2004/07/25 13:24:22, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.c:process_loop(726)
Jul 25 13:24:22 bfs winbindd[22719]: process_loop: Invalid request size from pid 30242: 1568 bytes sent, should be 1824
Jul 25 13:24:22 bfs winbindd[22719]: This usually means that you are running old wbinfo, pam_winbind or libnss_winbind clients
The errors started after I applied the latest samba updates from up2date. Does
anyone know if there is some other package that needs to be updated? Up2date
says that the machine is up2date.
bfs pts1) # rpm -qa samba\*
samba-client-3.0.4-6.3E
samba-common-3.0.4-6.3E

Is anyone else seeing this??
Tom
