We implemented Oracle 9i on RHEL3 and found some decent information at http://www.puschitz.com.  The tuning parameters that he gives for shared memory, etc. are not for production systems, but his steps for installation are quite detailed.

Does anyone have any good information regarding tuning RHEL3 to run Oracle 9i in a production environment?  Oracle has a good technote on Metalink regarding the requirements for Oracle 9i/RHEL 3 (Doc ID 252217.1)
