You do see that you have -54 and -56 versions installed?
-54 laus-package is all-in-one, in -56 it's split up.
I just keep laus-libs-0.1-56RHEL3 installed and make sure that /dev/audit
does not exist. Automated via kickstart naturally. Of course is't not the
only way and most likely a very unsupported one.
