It's odd.   We have several machines running Taroon.  One, my laptop, 
has the up2date problem mentioned with yum archives -- it's running the 
U3-beta.   The others aren't running the U2 + all released updates and 
don't have the problem (and at least one of them has a yum archive in 
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources).

So far as I can tell, this was introduced by rpm-4.2.3-1 which is in the 
beta channel is it not?
