Hi,
HP/UX has what they call "compatibility mode" in that binaries compiled
in the RISC platform will run on the Itanium platform but at a cost in
performance.
I know it isn't quite the same... But will binaries compiled on a x386
platform run under RHELv3 for Itanium? I am thinking the answer may be
something like "Yes, if the libraries are statically linked". But, not
sure....
In this case it will binaries compiled on RHELv3 x386.
Thanks,
Ed
