Samba HELP!

Update 3 appears to have run last night, and now no one can auth through
samba.  We use a separate nis/krb server, and I can auth through ssh to
the file server using a nis/krb username/password with no problem.  FTP
works as well.  The only problem is with samba.  This server houses our
home directories, so needless to say I need this running NOW.  Anyone
have a suggestion, even if it's down and dirty as a temporary fix?
