Hello All,
Is anyone else having problems with NIS? I've got RHEL 3 (all the
latest patches as of today, 9/2). When a user is logged onto the master
NIS server and tries to change their password, they get the message:
do_ypcall: clnt_call: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused
and the password gets changed, or they get the message:
RPC: Timed out
The password has not been changed on [hostname]
and the password is changed (contrary to the error message).
Any ideas?
Matt
