Re: Dual monitor displays

I want drive two monitors with my Matrox G450, RHEL on the left and a

following packages you requested were not found: xinerama."

Suggestions? Hints?

Xinerama is a part of XFree that allows dual head operation. redhat-config-xfree86 should be able to setup multi-head diplays if you have multiple AGP or PCI display adapters installed in your system.

The G450 requires an extra set of libraries from matrox (IIRC, called
HALlib)

I used these under RHL7.2 and Debian a long time ago.. Have not tried them
with newer XFree4 or NPTL kernels.
