Xinerama is a part of XFree that allows dual head operation.
redhat-config-xfree86 should be able to setup multi-head diplays if you
have multiple AGP or PCI display adapters installed in your system.
The G450 requires an extra set of libraries from matrox (IIRC, called
HALlib)

I used these under RHL7.2 and Debian a long time ago.. Have not tried them
with newer XFree4 or NPTL kernels.
