Hi,

The hostname's figured out from the reverse lookup of the IP address assigned from DHCP. If it can't resolve the name it uses the default of "localhost.localdomain".

Alternatively you could do something `clever' with the %post section of your kickstart file to modify /etc/sysconfig/network.
