hi,

Thanks for your reply. But i tried it with the
--target option as well it gave a lot of errors and
did not complete. 
Cos of that i used the rpmbuild -ba kernel-2.4.spec
for it to get the default value for the target. Then
only the problem comes.

I still need some help!!!
