We don't have any vlans running on this computer, so I don't think we're
using software vlan tagging.

This is on a Dell Precision 530.  According to lspci, the network hardware is
a 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado] (rev 78)
It's built-in to the motherboard.
