Sandhya,
   You'll need the x86_64 distribution of RHEL3-U4 to operate on your 
AMD64 platform. That distribution also runs on Intel EM64T. There were a 
number of issues with RHEL3 on AMD64 machines based on VIA and Nvidia 
chipsets up until Update 3 so Update 4 is a good starting point. You can 
expect to see a U5 release within the next 2 months which you may or may 
not wish to wait for.
