Re: Bonding under RHEL 2.1?

I have backported the updated driver which I use in a number of machines and works very well.

If you want a kernel to test with I can supply that too :)

Hi,

First of all, sorry for mailing here, but as there is (to my
knowledge) no RHEL 2.1 mailing list ...

I want to setup bonding for 2 interfaces under RHEL 2.1 but, to my
surprise, I saw that RedHat gives only some ancient version of the
bonding module.

Does anyone know if bonding is supported at all under RHEL 2.1?

This module doesn't accept any parameters.
Although I managed to get the bond interface up (on IBM HS20 blade),
it doesn't work properly (loosing packets, network being slow).

Is there any supported way to get this working, apart from moving to
RHEL 3 (which I can't do :( ).

Thanks,

BQ
