RE: Sendmail relay configuration - RHEL 3.0

Title: Message
What we've done is to set a DNS entries for our mail relays as mailhost in our internal zones, we never touch the cf files at all.

Does this help?

Actually that isn't a scalable solution. Better to define mailhost in your DNS space. Sendmail will use it and you won't be editing cf files everywhere.

Can you please be more specific. I'm not familiar with that feature and it sounds useful.
