Re: Swapping HDs with HW RAID 1 or cloning HDs over the network?



There are several ways to do it, but if you already have a ghost
infrastructure, ghost supports imaging a linux system.  I had my
windows guys ghost a linux box for me and it works.  The grub boot
block sometimes has to be reloaded (easily done from cd1 of your
distro) but other than that it seems to work well.
