Not with an HP EVA you aren't. The md multipath driver requires
active/active controllers which the current EVAs aren't. With the EVAs
shipping next month, you can probably do this.

With an EVA, if you cat /proc/mdstat, you'll see that the the mddriver
threw out the non-active controller at boot time. If figures that if
it's dead at boot, it's not coming back. That's a bad guess, but that's
the way it works in taroon today.
