I have a few x206's and have come to the conclusion that it is a lot
easier to do software RAID with Linux than to do "hardware" raid with
IBM's drivers. From a performance standpoint it's basically a wash
too. This way you don't taint the kernel and can use the stock kernels
from Redhat when they come out rather than wait months for IBM to
provide a driver.
