I think after sdz it goes to sdaa (memory kinda foggy on that though)

Since I see the controller as /dev/sda on my systems sda1 is not an
option.  Did you mean to start your partition list above with sdb1 or
does your system ignore lun 0 and assign lun 1 to sda ?
